Our Story.
As a young girl I walked the beach with my Father collecting shells, pebbles and sea glass, along with his sage advice.
All were safely stored in treasure boxes.
These treasure boxes tell my story, added to by my children and their treasures.
Always creative, and a busy Mum, my daughter Lisa and I started selling these sea glass pictures at the markets. We met wonderful people. With great camaraderie and encouragement, everyone with their own story built into their creations. These stories inspired me to write the captions.
One young man cried with delight seeing the Family picture “We are not step, we are not half, we’re just Family.
A celebration of my Family.
Reflections of what my heart wanted to say.
So, we now run a small family business in the coastal town of Skerries. My husband’s hand makes the wooden picture frames. My children help collective sea glass for payment of a large ice cream with toppings at the end of the beach. Delicious.
A lot of time, laughter, reflection and good Karma go into each picture.
We supply to shops both here in Ireland and in America, and ship to all corners of the world.
The Sea Glass has had many journeys and has its own story to tell.
